WHAT IS OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Occupational Therapists work alongside people with many different illnesses, injuries or long term health conditions and with people of all ages. The Occupational Therapist works with you to identify your strengths and weakness and help you set achievable goals to improve your independence in the daily activities you wish to undertake. By using different techniques such as adaptations to your environment, rehabilitation, equipment provision and education the Occupational Therapist is able to help you achieve your personal goal, improve independence and function in all activities of daily life.
